Contest: Graduation Day - Revamped Spuffy Edition

Presentation

Finally the day has come for Sunnydale High School's Class of 99' to graduate. While their classmates are making the final preparations and anxiously awaits the formal ceremony Buffy and the Scoobies are steeling themselves for  an ugly face-off with the Mayor at the moment of his Ascension.  
They have gathered their weapons and made a plan but they are completely unprepared for the unexpected return of an old enemy who can complicate matters further.

Spike has rolled into town and has acquired the Gem of Amara with one purpose in mind: To kill the Slayer. Unaware of the current  threat of the Mayor he locates her and sets out to confront her.
It's going to be one hell of a Graduation Day...

CHALLENGE: Create an entry depicting your take on the subsequent events of the Graduation Day.

NOTE: Canon events of the TV show has been altered to adjust the circumstances of the Graduation Day to the theme of the contest.

Entries have to feature both Spike and Buffy. (Not necessarily as a couple though.)
Entries have to be in accordance with the theme.
All the regular DeviantArt rules and policies for deviations apply to the entries for this contest.
You can submit as many entries as you'd like. The more the merrier.
